Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Forum in Cabanatuan City, Successfully Launched!
DR. PAULINO J. GARCIA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL — In celebration of Department of Health’s observance of Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Month, Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center (PJG) conducted an awareness forum.
Administrative and medical personnel, doctors, nurses, and chiefs filled the Hospital’s auditorium and actively participated in the activity.
The Philippine Network for Organ Sharing (PhilNOS), NKTI Human Organ Preservation Effort (NKTI-HOPE), and the Eye Bank Foundation of the Philippines shared valuable insights on organ sharing and as to how we can address challenges facing it.
After the activity, the attendees signed up for organ donor card spearheaded by PhilNOS.
A MOA signing between Eye Bank and PJG is expected to happen on October 18. #PartnersInSight #EyeBankPH
