Eye Bank Strengthens Advocacy in Batangas!

Chateau Royale, Nasugbu — In observance of the Department of Health’s National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Month, the Center for Health Development – Region IV-A, together with the Philippine Network for Organ Sharing (PhilNOS), launches series of lectures on organ and tissue donation.

This day, September 30, 2019, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from the Province of Batangas actively participated in the forum where Organ Procurement Organizations/Organ and Tissue Retrieval Units (OPOs/OTRUs) served as panel speakers. The activity aims to heighten the advocacy in support of the organ donation and transplantation program and its implementation in the service delivery network in the framework of Universal Health Care.
