Sincere Thanks to the PNP Forensic Group for a Warm Welcome!

On behalf of the Eye Bank Foundation of the Philippines, we express our deepest gratitude to the PNP Forensic Group, led by PBGEN PIERRE PAUL F CARPIO, Director, and PCOL NERINO B DACIEGO, Deputy Director for Administration, along with the Command Group and Chiefs of Technical Divisions, for graciously welcoming us at Camp BGen Rafael T Crame on October 23, 2026.

We are honored to join hands with the Department of Health (DOH), represented by USec Albert Francis E. Domingo, MD, MSc and the Philippine Forensic Medicine Society (PFMS) in pursuing groundbreaking research titled “Establishing and Validating Corneal Endothelial Cell Density as a Biomarker for Postmortem Interval Estimation in the Philippine Setting,” led by PMAJ PAOLO BENEDICTO S ACOSTA III, MD.

Our CEO, Dra. Dominga “Minguita” B. Padilla, highlighted the significant forensic applicability of corneal tissue in postmortem interval estimation. Beyond our core mission of sight restoration through corneal donation and transplantation, we are glad to contribute to scientific advancement, justice, and public health through this interagency partnership.

Thank you, PNP Forensic Group, for your hospitality and commitment to interagency collaboration! Together, we look forward to advancing forensic science and service to the nation.
